When I was a child, the poor kids up a nearby valley would bring them to school and share them. Those of us on "cleaner", more "prosperous" farms had none growing near our homes. Perhaps that caused one of my first suspicions that our society's priorities were not always in line with reality. I loved hazelnuts then and do yet today.
